These two former lovers used to be a duo who created art together for over 12 years.  They broke up in the 70s at the Great Wall of China with another art performance where each of them walked towards the other from opposite ends of the wall. Once they met in the middle, they embraced for one last time and parted ways. It was the last time they saw each other - until this day. Marina Abramovic had a live art performance where strangers were invited to sit in silence across her as they stared at each other. She would close her eyes every time a new person would take a seat.
