This Sailor Had a Candy Crush Addiction. He Ended Up In The Hospital Because Of It.

Yes, believe it or not, playing too much Candy Crush can be dangerous for your health. This guy developed such a severe form of what is also called "Nintendo Thumb" or repetitive strain injury, that he had to undergo surgery. How did he manage this? He simply played Candy Crush for too many hours at a time, repeating the same movements with his thumb over and over again. The reason why he didn't feel enough pain to actually stop playing is because games like Candy Crush are designed to give people pleasure, which causes the body to release endorphins and numbs the pain. He simply had too much fun playing, became addicted and couldn't stop, despite the harm that was done to his hand.
