Little Caleb suffered traumatic brain syndrome and multiple broken bones after being in a horrific head-on collision. His recovery has not progressed much, and his dad has started to lose all hope that he would eventually fully recover. That was until Colonel, a volunteer therapy dog came to visit for the first time. His presence had an immediate effect on the boy, who started to improve rapidly after the start of his animal therapy sessions. It just comes to show that animals are good for the soul.
