You were too lazy to set your alarm in the first place, so you don’t wake up at all

Snooze at the first buzz, but get up at the second

Snooze until the alarm doesn’t go off anymore and get up an hour later

Jump under the shower and feel refreshed after a thorough scrub-down

Only wet a sponge and wash the bare essentials

Splash your face and put on some deodorant to mask the smell

Nah – it’s not time for your annual shower yet

Thrashing your thumbs on a game controller

Spending all of it in bed, sleeping and watching TV

Party party party through the night

Getting up early and finishing a marathon or two

Fish some very crinkled pieces of clothing from the washing bin

Put on the same shirt from yesterday, plus underwear you bought to avoid doing the washing

Turn the underwear you have been wearing for the past week inside out

Select your clothes from a clean pile you folded and ironed over the weekend

It’s time for breakfast and you

Have some cereal

Holler to whoever is listening to bring your breakfast in bed and eat it lying down

Quickly cook up something healthy in the kitchen for everybody

Text your partner to make breakfast, you will be there shortly

You accidentally drop some of the food on the carpet

You call the dog/cat to come lick it up

You grab the vacuum cleaner and leave the rest for later

You simply side-step the mess, it blends in with the rest of the floor, after all

You clean it up and start scrubbing vigorously to ensure not a speck of filth remains

You get to the kitchen to have coffee, only to find that there are no clean cups

You wash them quickly, you have plenty of time and energy

You run to the bathroom to rinse a cup while leaving the rest

You load the dishwasher so you will at least have clean dishes tonight

You drink from your last disposable cup and text someone to buy more or order them online

You arrive at work

Exactly on time (after rushing through traffic and swearing at other drivers)

An hour late, apologizing profusely

Half an hour early smiling

You don’t. After being fired for laziness two years ago you haven’t bothered to apply for a new job yet.
