Beloved Toll Collector Fired After 30 Years For Paying Someone's Toll

When they pulled up at the toll plaza, people were hoping that they would get Sam Samsonov, just to get a friendly smile. When drivers didn't have enough money on them, he would just wave it off and pay the balance in from his own pocket. They would usually settle it the next day in any case. He often had a sucker for the kids and when people heard about his layoff, they took to social media to express their rage.
