Yet Another Japanese Name Generator

This gizmo will generate for you a legit Japanese name. The majority of Japanese personal names are created by combining a prefix word (e.g. Hana [flower], Shou [to soar]) and a gender-appropriate suffix (e.g. -mi [beauty] for a girl, -taro [first son] for a boy).

I have included all the most common name prefixes and suffixes I could think of. This thingamabobber can generate over 800 female names and over 2000 male names.
