The Bicycle People Couldn't Ride Because Of How Their Brains Work

Destin from Smarter Everyday did an experiment with a backwards-bicycle, which nobody could ride because of the way their brains are wired. Apparently it is not all just a case of learning the trick within a couple of minutes or telling yourself to turn the wheel the other way, your whole body need to learn how to adjust to this new way of steering. It took Destin 8 months of practising to learn how to actually ride this backwards-bike, but he also gave one to his six year old son, who got the swing of it within 2 weeks.
