yeah, the half sleeve became a full last night when i decided to do the upper arm as well.

I need a camera, photobooth is lame for this purpose.

yeah... the arm... it is really funny to be around people that get into tattoo discussions and show off their two or three little 4 inch tattoos, then just kind of mumble 'it isn't done yet' and take off my sweater or roll up my sleeves.

I am so mothereffin' envious. I'm still tattooless because ink doesn't grow on trees :(((((

this is pretty fun. people see the tiny stars on my wrist when i'm talking about tattoos and they're like "yeah well i've got this dolphin 4" on my shoulder!" and i'm like "umm" and roll up my sleeve. people usually don't expect this super colorful halfsleeve to appear.

i'm also most likely making it into a full sleeve as well, once i has the moneys. and can find another excellent artist since mine has left the field :(

yeah,if i show my first tattoo first it's very "that's it? the one on my ankle/foot/whatever... "then i'm all "oh hey, *ziiiip* this is my second"

I also like the discussions of "well all girls ever get are lame ass butterflies/flowers/cute little animals" and my response is "well, I've got roses, and vines, and leaves and a dead tree, and a mushroom cloud, and fish skeletons, and a completely very thinly veiled drug reference, and a hippy chick whose hair is the ocean... and planets... and i think that is it. oh and the moon"

My plan is to go from artist to artist. I know some people that go religiously to the same artist for everything... but seriously, would you only hang the art by one person in your house? same thing goes for your body. Especially large pieces. Small pieces, not so much, who cares on that... but the dude responsible for my sleeve is probably not going to put a needle into me ever again. And not because he's a bad artist... It's just I've got him plastered the fuck all over one arm.

Holy shit.

what city is he in? I might just be tempted enough to drive up there for that kind of quality.
