Only my cartilage one bled. My bellybutton didn't bleed until I dropped a folder on it.

Lobes bleeding unless you just caught them on something or whatever = bad.

Some people bleed more than others. If he got pierced by normal means (went to a piercer needle through ear vs rammed a sewing needle through his ear) and his lobes bled, he's probably fine. I've been pierced a bunch, all by the same place, and some piercings bled whereas some didn't. One eyebrow bled like crazy, but my nape piercing never did.

none of my peircing have bled. My belly button did a little when I accidently yanked it 2 days after I got it, but it still wasn't much at all.
I love getting peirced. I want an industrial, but I'm scared.

Yeah, I have this urge to get a piercing but no idea what. I want another cartilage one just below the one I had done, but I wanna give blood first, and be sure that the first one's healed properly, too.

My piercer told me that surface piercings feel more uncomfortable than hurty. Like "Hmmmm, something is under my skin that normally isn't under my skin. This is odd."

I played rugby for a year and it sucked because of the peircings. I had tape over my belly button and not only that, I have gauged ears and had to take everything out. I didn't have my nose at the time, so no wrries there.

As for tattoos... I focking love them and am a bit addicted. I have 3 and I'm already planning the next 2.
I think they feel good and look good as long as you get a good artist and don't have anything too cliche.

with the exception of my family crest, all of my tattoos i plan to get are self-designed, and have a special meaning.

i have 2 eagles in native style art. i believe and identify with the aboriginal 2-spirit concept, hence 2 of them, and i am a registered, non-status aboriginal (AHAHAH @ my blonde hair and english last name.) i dislike the fact that it is in pacific north west style... but we'll pretend it is because i love B.C., and not because Mi'kmaq art is not half as developed historically...

and then 2 drawings i have done that need to be seen to explained. plus that crest

i'm working on something to incorporate newfoundland rugby... but that isn't as important... but rugby is my love. as i've played for over 5 years at a national level. ruggggggby.

I have some pretty mean metal allergies (I got a rash from a belt buckle) so I only have my ear lobes pierced. I have "bengal tiger" tattooed on my shoulder in thai. I don't think I will be getting another tattoo any time soon though. I would really have to sit on a design for a while.

that's kinda nifty. still not a fan of the tattooing things in a different language/using asian characters... buuut eh.

i have a distaste for lower back tattoos, and tattooing one's own name... so silly.

i'm not keen on nautical stars any more either. or sparrows. waaaaaaay overdone.

Normally I'm not either, but I got this because of how much the two month I spent in Thailand meant to me. I picked tiger because that was my nickname while there and ended up with bengal tiger because tiger was just too short.

ahhh that makes it a bazillion times better.

i would have totally added a tiger picture underneath!

azn symbols are irksome pretty well all the time because so few people ever have a true meaning behind it. or they just chose a word that 'means' something to them then decided upon some style of characters because it 'looks cool' ... that's what my sister plans to do!

my friends ex-roomate was an uber angsty japanophile and burnt the kanji character for spirit in her arm. i rolled my eyes. because she showed us as we had a discussion about serious injuries and how much they hurt and she just piped up 'I burnt the kanji in my arm! look! it says spirit'
