Um, excuse me? Which bit? Ben first mentioned this on the 2nd of may, and gave you till the start of june. That's 30 days, which is a month, more or less. You can definitely still get your username changed if you ask an admin, as long as the request is reasonable.

And fuck, your own actions, jon, have higlighted a very good reason for instituting this. Sure, it was funny on the one hand, but it was pretty worrying that anyone could so easily impersonate someone else to that level of accuracy. The only sure giveaways were postcount and join date, and you can't be expected to keep track of that...
