I think they have an independent ads program that sends in ads from an agency.


From a marketing point of view, some of the ads do not reflect the demographics & the psychographics of the R&M posters. Google has all this spyware and they still can't get their effectiveness up.

So, no. This isn't R&M's fault. In a way, it's yours. By not buying all the merchandise in the store when it existed and allowing R&M to exist without having to have ads at all.

I think the adverts are often based by what is written on the page - especially on the front page. When my 'not the 10 o'clock news - the papal special' was up, all the adverts were to do with John Paul 2.0.

The ads are determined by Google's software from the context of the page. We don't control them. And without them, there could be no R&M.
