I'm making a blog because I'm starting to get tired of my journal and I want to put a wallpaper on it but I suck at html........any help......anyone!!

well, if the code has already been done for you, find the tag that starts with <body . this is located near the top of the page. there will be other things written in the tag. don't mess with that. after the " <body " part, type " background="http://..." " (whatever the address for the picture is on the web) i kinda suck at explaining this, so tell me if this makes no sense. :-?

Example:
<body text="#006005" background="http://www.geocities.com/lum92/etc/fuu.txt" bgcolor="#005614">

that is the Body tag for my journal. the "text" part is just like the color codes on r&m, you can use names (if the name is an official color name, like red) or color codes. bgcolor is what color the background will be, but that's not important because your picture will be covering it.

Oh I was going to suggest something rather completely different, which I'll suggest anyway.

This goes in between the <head></head> tags. Just replace the CAPS with what you need

<STYLE>
body {background-image: url(NAME OF IMAGE YOU WANT AS BACKGROUND);background-repeat: NO-REPEAT/REPEAT*;background-attachment: fixed}
</STYLE>

*Use either.

Same with me. I was using their Advanced Editor too, before I realized I could write it in Notepad and just copy/paste it over.

Angelfire was kinda ok but then started to *really* suck goat.

So I ran. Left my website half behind. Never touched it again. Ick ick.

They're so much easier. I never got a chance to implement them into my current site, but the new layout is based on them.
